A reflection on shared human experience beneath universal celestial bodies. Drawing from Rumi, Khalil Gibran, and voices across cultures, the work weaves sun and moon imagery into a textile landscape where light and darkness coexist as necessary forces for growth. The sun and moon are rendered in intricate patterns that echo both cosmic cycles and the truths we attempt to hide. Like Banksy’s 2006 street work “Sweep it Under the Carpet”, this piece confronts what we refuse to acknowledge, yet offers a gentle revelation on vulnerability and strength. What we sweep beneath becomes illuminated, a reminder that we all love, endure, and rise under the same vast sky.
