Every rug is handwoven in Egypt.

We work primarily with silk, premium wool, bamboo silk sourced from New Zealand, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, China & Egypt. Our wool is selected for its lanolin content, which provides natural stain resistance. All materials are tested for quality before entering production.

Natural wool rugs shed slightly when new, this is normal and temporary. Our finishing process includes multiple rounds of trimming and brushing to minimize initial shedding. Regular vacuuming during the first few weeks will quickly eliminate loose fibers. Shedding typically stops completely within a month of regular use.

With proper care, our rugs last generations. We have pieces from our first years still in daily use. Durability depends more on maintenance than traffic, dirt accumulation damages fibers over time. Regular cleaning preserves both appearance and structure.

We offer custom sizing across all collections, bespoke colorways with Pantone matching, and completely original designs. Email us your requirements for a detailed quote and timeline. Custom orders require a 50% deposit and typically add 4-6 weeks to standard production times.

We provide complimentary material samples and strike-offs (small woven samples showing exact colors and construction). For custom projects, we create 30x30cm samples for approval before full production. Contact us to request samples.

We accept all major credit cards, wire transfers, and InstaPay. Full payment is required for in-stock pieces. Custom orders require a 50% deposit with the balance due before shipping.

Standard production times: Hand-knotted rugs: 6-8 Months. Hand-tufted rugs: 6-8 weeks. Kilims: 4-6 weeks. Large-scale pieces (over 9x12) add 4-6 weeks. Custom designs require additional time for sampling and approval.

We ship worldwide via DHL or FedEx. Shipping is quoted at checkout. All shipments are fully insured.

You can request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order for in stock & ready to ship rugs.

Handwoven rugs naturally vary by up to 5% in size and show subtle color variations, this is part of their authenticity. If variations exceed these tolerances, contact us immediately for resolution.
