In 2021, KAHHAL 1871 proudly launches its inaugural KAHHAL KILIMS X DESIGNERS EDITION collaboration, a contemporary line of handwoven kilim rugs with a focus on world-class design, exceptional quality, sustainability and luxury.
KAHHAL KILIMS paves the way forward with a luxurious line of Kilims made of hypoallergenic K-Luxe woolTM using revolutionary yarn that protects against dust mites and skin irritation especially in homes with young children. 

For over 150 years the KAHHAL name has been synonyms with the finest quality hand-made rugs and carpets in Egypt. Today, the 5th generation of the family operates the business with a shared vision to take the company into the future using both innovative and environmentally-conscious materials, practices and techniques.
Our KAHHAL KILIMS commitment to social responsibility includes fair trade certification and an ethos of community care with an active CSR program. A percentage of profits from our KAHHAL KILIMS collaborations will go directly to a charity platform.
