"Collision is a direct inspiration from a fascinating phenomenon occurring only at the Gulf Of Alaska where two "oceans" seem to collide but not mix. I wanted to translate this phenomenon by using two group of lines each with a different colour colliding onto a monochromatic background. The optical illusion behind the resulting effect make it seem like the rug has three backgrounds colours. This makes Collision a very unique rug that also allows for infinite colour combinations." - Cherif Morsi
